The Melancholy of Brahms​
A one act ballet with songs

The story
The Melancholy of Brahms explains the mystery of Brahms. Why the melancholy which is evident in his classic lullaby? It is almost a lament.  Listening to his music we discover everything. He hides nothing from us. We only have to listen. He was a man like all of us and this the story he told me.

The Ballet/Opera opens with 6 dancers. They must be saintly, but young and vibrant. 3 of them are the children of Catrina and her husband. Carlos ?. The one girl is their daughter.(not killed),(only boys were slaughtered in Iguala)

Act I   it is early on the day before Christmas. Claudette has friends over to the house playing in the living room. Claudette prefers to play in her bedroom with her stuffed animals. Her mother is very sick  and  comes into her room to sing her a lullaby. There is a big Christmas tree and the light.
